End of Section 4 Vigil (14-09-18)

SECTION 4 VIGIL

(To be done at night between the hours of 12 midnight and 2am)

HYMN FOR THE VIGIL

  1. 0 Lord, let the way of the oppressor be dark and slippery and let the angel of the Lord persecute them, in the name of Jesus.
  2. 0 Lord, let destruction, come upon my enemies unawares and the net that they have hidden catch them, in Jesus’ name.
  3. 0 Lord, let the enemy, fall into the destruction he has created, in Jesus’ name.
  4. 0 Lord, let not those, that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Father, let my enemies be ashamed, and brought to confusion, together with those who rejoice at my hurt, in the name of Jesus.
  6. 0 Lord, let my enemies be clothed with shame, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Stir up Thine self, 0 Lord, and fight for me, in Jesus’ name.
  8. 0 Lord, let them be clothed, with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me, in the name of Jesus.
  9. Father, let not the foot of pride, come against me, in Jesus’ name.
  10. Thou, that exalteth thine self as an eagle against me, I knock you down, in Jesus’ name.
  11. Every ancestral debt collector, be silenced, in the name of Jesus.
  12. Every locker and warehouse, holding my blessings of wealth, catch fire, in Jesus’ name.
  13. Invisible wall of barriers, stagnating my destiny, scatter, in Jesus’ name.
  14. Invisible barricades, stagnating my goals, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
  15. Every trap, that repeats evil circles, catch your owner, in Jesus’ name.
  16. Snare, of right place at the wrong time, break by fire, in Jesus’ name.
  17. Snare, of being one day late, one naira short, break, in the name of Jesus.
  18. Snare, of too little, too late, break, in the name of Jesus.
  19. Prayers of Jabez, to provoke my enlargement, manifest in my life, in Jesus’ name.
  20. Every evil contract, signed by my ancestors in the heavenlies, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
  21. Every dog, collar assigned to lead me astray, break, in the name of Jesus.
