Topic: THE PRINCIPLES OF SPIRITUAL MILITARY INTELLIGENCE
Text: Psalm 119:99-100, John 5:16-17

Listen very carefully, especially in these times that we are in.

What is Spiritual Intelligence? Before we now begin to spiritualise it.

Military Intelligence is the business of:
1. knowing who the enemy is. It is a tragedy when you are fighting an enemy you do not know. It is a tragedy when the enemy is masquerading before you and you do not know that the enemy is wearing a masquerade. It is a tragedy when you are doing misfired aggression by fighting the wrong enemy. It is a tragedy when the enemy is able to divert you to the wrong enemy. So the first principle in military intelligence is that you must know who the enemy is.

If Satan puts two horns on his head, and has a long tail behind him, nobody would follow him on the street. But he will not come in that form or shape. He will come in a beautiful form, and a way to deceive men. So, we must know whom the enemy is.

2. Learning how the enemy operates. This is why Jesus can say “this kind of enemy you are trying to cast out cannot go out except by prayer and fasting”. Jesus knew how they operated. Jesus said when an unclean spirit leaves a man, he goes into the wilderness, into dry places and finding no rest, he comes back. Meaning that demons too can be tired and they may be looking for how to rest.

===> May your prayer cause restlessness in every coven of witchcraft assigned against your destiny, in the name of Jesus.

3. Learning what the objectives of the enemy are. Why are they attacking you? What is the problem here? What is it about you that is generating interest among them? Is it because of your colourful destiny? Is it because they see you as a dangerous person for Jesus? Is it because you have made a mistake? What do they really want from you? Do they really want to kill the person? Or they just want to make the person useless? What are the objectives of the enemy?

===> I decree that every object of the enemy for your life shall scatter, in the name of Jesus.

4. Knowing how the enemy is planning to accomplish those purposes.

These are the four basic principles of military intelligence.

In spiritual military intelligence now, we do have a spy. That spy has been made available to us as long as we decide to become friends with that spy. That spy is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit beloveth, is the greatest spy. Remember that when they came to look for Elisha, his offence was that anything the enemy was planning, he would have known it, and he would brief the king. All of us need to become friends and become partners with the Holy Spirit. We have to be in communion with the Holy Spirit.

It is a tragedy for you to have been coming to the MFM for one year, two years or five years and you have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. When you begin to speak in tongues, you need to pray for spiritual gifts to come upon your life. There is no sabbatical. There is no sick leave (John 5:17). There is no holiday in the warfare that is before us, for that enemy is stress less, but the Holy Spirit is the spy that tells us where they are.

Listen to these hard facts.
– Our welfare, our destiny, our lives are affected by evil princes of this unseen world. Paul said “…we wrestle”. It is a wrestling match. We wrestle against flesh and blood, against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Our welfare, whether we like it or not, is affected by those powers. Before we started the service here this morning, the angels that came here did not need to pass through the door, they just walk in.

And if there are people here followed by their enemies, the enemies do not need to pass through the door. They pass to follow them in.

– Our welfare, our destiny, our progress is affected by evil spirits who rule this world. The Bible says “the dark places of this earth are full of the habitations of cruelty”. It is cruelty they practise here. They are cruel and wicked.

– our welfare, our progress, our destinies are affected by the spirits of wickedness in the heavenlies above us. Please try and really understand what I am saying now. There is an invisible society of spirits behind all visible occurrences in the physical world. Nothing happens by chance. There is an invisible society of spirits behind them. If you say there is a minister of education, there is another minister of education that the enemy has appointed that position to.

You say somebody is a governor, but there is a governor that Satan too has appointed. That is how it is. Every geographical location has its own characteristic demons controlling it.

===> I am praying for everyone here that every decision of darkness against you shall fail, in the name of Jesus. Shout IT SHALL FAIL seven times!

Therefore beloveth, good or bad, fortunate or unfortunate aspects/experiences occur as a result of good and evil, sympathetic or hostile spirits fighting against each other and against us. You have a guardian angel and they want to confront you. He fights them sometimes without you knowing. And sometimes, you fight them yourself. Certain invisible cosmic beings exist, below God, but above us, that have the power to disrupt even the will of God for your life if you’re not careful.

They have power to perpetrate evil against the will of God and wreck havoc, if you are not careful. They kill unless we persistently and forcefully oppose them. Therefore, spiritual warfare is unavoidable.

Unfortunately the history failure in warfare can be summarised in two words: too late. Too late in preparation, too late in recognising potential danger of the enemy, too late in mobilising forces to attack back. Everything is too late and that is a serious problem. This is why in the military, discipline is the first priority. Same way if you are going to win in the spiritual warfare, discipline is not negotiable. You have to be disciplined.

You have to obey instructions 100%. Without discipline, you cannot move from where you are. Here you are, you want to drink alcohol, you cannot grow. You want to watch pornography, you cannot grow. You want to commit fornication, tell lies, gossip, you cannot grow. And if you are like that, you are not growing, you are not disciplined, if wastage is supposed to happen and you are in it, heaven will not bother to protect you because when you were around, you were useless to heaven anyway. This is the problem. I want you to understand these principles very well.

There are 10 Main Characteristics of Spiritual Intelligence. I want to run through that very quickly. When we say spiritual intelligence, what are we talking about?
1. Having good understanding.
2. Having high mental capacity.
3. Quick to understand spiritual things.
4. Being well informed.
5. Sound thinking.
6. Having good reasoning faculty.
7. Having good judgment.
8. Having sharp discernment. You can know when you are looking at an enemy or at a friend.
9. Being close to the Holy Spirit. So that Holy Spirit becomes your senior partner.
10. Having capacity to grasp the truth.

These are the ten characteristics of spiritual intelligence. Meaning that you can be academically intelligent but spiritually dull.

Meaning that you could be financially intelligent but spiritually be a dunce, and I want you to understand this very well. If you are here today, you are a spiritual dunce:
– when you are lying to yourself.
– when you are doing the same thing over and over and you are expecting a different result.
– if you are living in any known sin, because all sinners are waging against God.
– if you forget your quiet time.
– if you never read your Bible deeply.
– when you are forgetting divine dreams.
– when you do not even dream at all.
– when your dream life is just night mares.
– when you receive no vision, revelation or voice from heaven.
– when you think you can hide from God.
– if you are in any form of addiction.
– if you do not sometimes sit down to count your blessings, always counting only your sorrows and misfortunes.
– when you do not want to acquire spiritual knowledge and you are content at remaining in ignorance.
– when you are living in any kind of unholy life.

But for those who are spiritually intelligent:
1. You must know your God.
2. You must know yourself.
3. You must know your enemy.
4. You must know your destiny.
5. You must understand the times and the seasons that you are in.

Those of you who are young here, maybe below 30, this time of your youth is your time to be in tune with God. It is your time to buy your future with the currency of the present.

It is time to begin to knock the rough edges off your life so that you can be the best that God has destined for you. It is time for you to discover what is worth living for, in life. It is time for you to prevent the first half of your life from making the second half of your life miserable; because this first phase of your life could make the second phase of your life miserable.

Youths of destiny do not remove their skirts or trousers anyhow and anywhere. If you see any man or woman that is sexually loose, they have no destiny, no future even if they could have money. That time of your youth is the time to block you from conceding your future to the enemy of your soul. You must understand the times and seasons. And like the poem we were taught: tick says the clock, tick tick; what you have to do, do quick. The clock is not a friend or enemy of anybody, it is just working. You just follow or you do not follow.

6. You must be a lover of prayer and the word of God.
7. You must learn the ministry of conflict which is spiritual warfare.

Any Christianity that someone brings to the black man and does not inform that black man on how to fight his own spiritual war is a waste of time, and this is a very serious matter. Salvation is not an exemption from the battle of life. It gives you the weapon to fight that battle.

4. I break the yoke of backwardness, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God arise, give me a turn around breakthrough, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Father, do something in my life that will make men celebrate me, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God arise, and connect me to my helpers, in the name of Jesus.
8. Coffin of darkness, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
9. I shall sing my song, I shall dance my dance, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
10. O God arise, and open your treasures unto me, in the name of Jesus.
11. O God arise, and give me open heavens, in the name of Jesus.
12. After the order of Peter, my Father, deliver me from the expectations of the enemies, in the name of Jesus.
13. My Father, arise in the thunder of your power, advertise your power in my life, in the name of Jesus.
14. Hands of the wicked holding my glory and shining, I cut you off, in the name of Jesus.
15. Ancient satanic powers, release me, in the name of Jesus.
16. Powers mocking God in my life, your time is up, die in the name of Jesus.
17. O God arise, pass through where you have never passed through before in my life, in the name of Jesus.
18. I pull down the power of envious witchcraft, in the name of Jesus.
19. Pot of affliction cooking my affairs, break in the name of Jesus.
