TITLE: The Problem of Spiritual Defilement

Message:
Today, we are looking at a strange but powerful message. It is titled ‘the problem of spiritual defilement’. Let’s look at some scriptures.
Beloved, defilement is a very serious subject in the Bible.
Numbers 35:34, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 2 Corinthians 6:26
Jeremiah 3:2. The land can be polluted, the land can be defiled.
Every time there is defilement, the Almighty gets very angry.
That’s makes it very clear to us that there are certain things that can enter into a person’s life, it is called defilement.
There are two kinds of filthiness, filthiness of the spirit and filthiness of the flesh.
Leviticus 18:27
From the scripture passages that we have red so far, you can see beloved that defilement is a serious matter and the Bible takes it very serious and heaven takes it very seriously.
Jeremiah 3:2
From what we have red so far, body can be defiled, a soul can be defiled, a spirit can be defiled, the spirit can be defiled, a land can be defiled, talents can be defiled, properties can be defiled, destiny can be defiled; even callings can be defiled.
A virgin was raped by armed robbers. Body is defiled, soul is defiled because she is now depressed for having lost her virtue; her virtue has been stolen. Spirit now got defiled because, right from that day; she hated men with perfect hatred and does not wish to marry.
You can see how all these three things can happen in a person.
I pray that every defilement of body, soul and spirit; will be cleared away in the name of Jesus!
It is very sad that we don’t get to hear much about these kind of topic these days.
Defilement chases away good things and many Christians unfortunately, have serious defilement problem.
What is defilement?
1. Defilement is uncleanliness, becoming polluted, filthiness, blemish of person, blemish of conduct, blemish of things, desecration, it means to soil or pollute, it is opposite of being kept pure, it is the opposite of being holy.
A small and equipped bible study will tell you all this just like we’ve just done now.
Every society and religion have a way of differentiating between clean and unclean, sacred and profane.
The Jews had purification rights to counter-write defilement and uncleanliness.
For example, in Leviticus 18:24; it says you can be defiled by following the way of the unbelievers.
2. Seeking after wizards. Leviticus 19:31. Seeking after wizards will cause you spiritual defilement.
3. Abortions. Leviticus 20:3. All forms of abortions defiles, understand this very well. Aborted children are being sacrificed to a demon called ‘molech’.
4. Making and serving idols defiles. Ezekiel 20:17-18. Idols defiles and this is a great problem where idol worship is common because, they keep defiling and defiling.
Listen very carefully beloved, when God wants a man to change, when God wants a man to have solutions to his problems, He will begin to point out to him what he should do.
The same idea is brought out in Isaiah 59:3
5. Shedding of blood also defiles and this a very very serious matter. Isaiah 59:3.
6. Food too can defile. If you are not careful, you get into trouble and you have yourself to blame. In 1 Corinthians 10:20; the Bible talks about food sacrificed to idols.
The Bible talks about the table of the devil and the table of the Lord. So, eating polluted foods can cause you to be defiled. Eating your food without prayers, without thanksgiving; can cause you to be defiled. Dedicated foods, for dedicated to idols and served in many parties; can cause you to be defiled. Eating spiritually polluted food can cause you to be defiled.
7. The mouth can also defile you. James 3:6. Your mouth can release poison into your life. Your mouth can pollute your destiny. Your mouth can make your destiny to stammer. Each word you speak without allowing the Holy Spirit to get into gear, defiles you spiritually. This is a very very serious matter.
8. Also, death defiles. Abortions, miscarriages produce death and a defilement of death. Family planning which does not prevent conception but rather cause chemical abortions is a defilement because the spirit of sacrifice is released.
Numbers 19:15. You have to be very careful. Hospitals, clinics are constantly defiled, and regular spiritual cleansing is necessary.
Any actions carried out which produces death, defiles. Taking overdose of drugs defiles. Hatred, which leads to murder; defiles. These are ways in which the enemy has carefully, constructively, put structures in place to pollute the lives of man and man does not know where his battle is coming from.
9. Spiritual uses of spitting, semen, blood, pulse, faeces, sprinkling of things causes defilement. A lot of people have gotten to their place of work or their company, they found human or animal faeces scattered by the door. They are trying to defile the place and cause trouble for you.
10. Sexual pollution too can defile. Hebrews 13:4. Sexual impurity, inordinate affections, foolish fondness, teddy-bear husbands, teddy-bear wives, insatiable sex, unlawful sexual intercourse.
Listen, there is nothing like females prostitutes; the male customers are also prostitutes. All the scientific fornication of buying sex toys, they pollute and they defile you. Those sex toys you use introduces demons into your body and you are harming yourself technically. Incest defiles, in fact it brings the curse of poverty upon it and instability.
Anybody who has practiced incest before, it brings a curse of poverty and instability. All kinds of sexual perversions that are unscriptural, they of course defiles. Masturbation defiles, oral sex defiles, anal sex defiles, rape defiles, lust defiles, pornography is a master defiler and it defiles, wandering eyes full of wicked looks defiles, the wicked and animalistic sex defiles, all sexual flash backs defile you, preoccupation with sexual desires are also defilement agents.
Evil sexual appetite defiles, filthy communications (using text messages, using video chats are all agents of defilement), Filthy conversations defiles. Male spirit in women, females spirit in men, sexual confusion, wandering minds, frog spirit. One major cause of this crisis is defilement. The human beings have defiled themselves in so many ways, with so many activities that are stinking into the nostrils of heaven. Leviticus 18:6-29. When you have time, sit down and read this passage.
11. There is medical defilement. You can be drugging your body with poison, you can be using drugs with questionable origin, you can be putting yourself under the curse of trusting the arm of the flesh.
Through medicine, a person can be subjected to invasion, violation, ravishing and spoiling of the integrity or the wholeness of his or her being; if the person is not careful. It is important to pray very well before going into any medical treatment. We have been chased out of many hospitals for trying to pray for patients, but then and eventually; they brought us back again when knew that the medicines were to working.
12. Mutilation of the body can cause defilement. Leviticus 19:28 tells us not to break our skin and not to cause troubles for ourselves.
Cutting, marking, tattooing, piercing and disfiguring of the body is common now; it is defilement to the temple of God. By breaking your skin, you open the door of your life to agents of invasion and blood hunters.
13. Drugs can defile. There are many dangerous drugs that people take now. They don’t even care whether it pass scientific basis for taking it or not; the just pump it into their body.
There are many demons linked to drugs, some even take hard drugs. Illegal drugs are even worse. There is a specific spirit, aligning with some of the drugs that people take that invade their body. You have to be very very careful. It is not medically prescribed and you’re prescribing drug for yourself, you may be afflicting yourself with defilement.
14. Cursed materials in your house will defile the house. Deuteronomy 7:26
15. Finally, there is foundational bondage. That also can defile a man.
I pray that every agent of defilement assigned against us, shall be disgraced in the name of Jesus!
You see beloved, the truth is this: the devil is present everywhere there is darkness. Wherever there is spiritual darkness, there the devil will be. Darkness is the absence of God who is light, darkness is the absence of light.
If we tolerate darkness through tolerance of sin, through defilement; we make ourselves vulnerable to spiritual attacks. Wherever there is willful disobedience to God, there is spiritual darkness and potential for demonic activity.
16. A lot of houses too are defiled. When they are living in defiled house, that’s why they are having issues with the house. When things related to idol worship is inside the house, the house will be defiled. When a lot of sexual sin have been carried out in that house and there is no cleansing, the house will be defiled.
All the evil love letters and the evil photos in the house, the house will be defiled. When things are in the house and you don’t even know where they are coming from, and you have not prayed about them; the house will be defiled as you may need to get rid of them.
When you fill the house with things that have become gods in your life, like all kinds of collections of clothes, money, jewelries that you don’t need; the house will be defiled. If items related to satan worship is in the house, the house will be defiled.
If things related to astrology, horoscopes are in the house; the house will be defiled. If pornographic magazines, pornographic materials are in the house; the house will be defiled.
Any house with demonic representations such as spirit of deaths and skulls in dragons, the house will be defiled. Materials related to false religion, fake religion, if it’s in the house; the house will be defiled. Materials related to secret societies, the house will be defiled.
Certain children books that encourages witchcraft, if it’s in the house, the house will be defiled. All the got luck charms and all kinds of fetish items and magic items in the house; the house of course; will be defiled.
And once a house is defiled:
– Sometimes, there is sudden chronic sickness.
– Sometimes, there is recurrent bad dreams and nightmares.
– Sometimes, there is insomnia and religious filthiness.
– Sometimes, there are behavioral problems because the house is defiled.
What do we do, how do we cleanse ourselves from defilement?
1. We need to surrender our life to Jesus, we need to get born again.
2. You carry out spiritual research on your life.
3. To repent from every known sin.
4. To forgive those who have offended you.
5. To break every ungodly soul tie.
6. To cast out these evil spirits and their effects.
7. To ask God to cleanse you.
8. Ask God to reverse the consequences of all those items that have caused pollution in your life.

9. Agent of defilement of my father’s house, your time is up; die in the name of Jesus!
10. O God arise and give me a blessing that no man can counter, in the name of Jesus!
11. Powers assigned to bury my destiny in shame, die in the name of Jesus!
12. Garments of infirmity, catch fire in the name of Jesus!
13. Satanic anointing for repeated problems, die in the name of Jesus!
14. My head, be lifted up; receive the crown of celebration in the name of Jesus!
15. Every evil load placed on the garden of my destiny, catch fire in the name of Jesus.
