Topic: I NEED A CHANGE BY FIRE

Those of you who have been to Warri before must have heard one of their very popular warfare songs. I will translate it to English for you. It says “no be so my life go take end o, Holy Ghost Fire, change my story”. It means “this is not where I will end my life, this is not my final busstop. Holy Ghost Fire, change my story!”

🔥 I am praying for somebody here: any power that wants your current level to be your final busstop, as you shout a sevenfold Amen, they are buried forever, in the name of Jesus. (A sevenfold amen).

Listen carefully. The city of Gadara had a serious problem. And it was a very popular city too. Popular not because it was an economic power, not because they had oil or a big market, but because they had a popular mad man. There was a mad man on the loose in Gadara. When he was on the streets, children must be locked up. Women were warned not to move about. As far as he was alive, nothing was safe. Men had to be ready to run when they saw the mad man of Gadara coming.

The mad man of Gadara was as mad as madness could be. Women and children were not safe. Roads were not safe. He was ever ready to destroy. There was a time they got a city committe together to plan to use the hardest and strongest chains to bind him, meaning that he was of great concern to the people. The Bible says he broke those things apart like paper and he cut himself with sharp stones. He was causing self inflicted harm. He dwelt in the tomb. His hair was melted together. His face was unshaven.

Anytime you saw him, he was always foaming in the mouth. Blood would be flowing from the self inflicted wounds. Whenever he was coming, the clanging of the chains would be heard. The Bible says he did not wear clothes. He did not live in a house, but dwelt among the tombs. And whenever he was coming, the stench of the dry pus and his vomit was unbearable. Whenever he came against a person, he came screaming at the person like a wild animal. Who was this mad man of Gadara?

We do not know much about who he was, but we do know that he was somebody.

Undoubtedly he must have had family members. Probably he was even a husband. Probably he was even a father. But see what the demons did to him. Even if he had a wife, the wife would not show up. Even if he had family members, nobody would come to him.

But one day, something happened to him, to change all that. The man was always crying day and night. So let me ask you the question: is this your story too?
– are you bound by visible and invisible chains?
– is your situation so bad that nobody wants to help you? No family wants to help?
– Can deliverance not help? Is this your story?
– are you completely deceived, manipulated and bewitched by the devil? Is this your story?
– are you harming yourself without even knowing?
– has the enemy affected you mentally so much so that you have no idea you are even harming yourself?
– are you in a situation where you do not even know that you are running fast to a place where you can destroy yourself?
– have you been abandoned by family and friends? Is this your story?
– do demons overcome you with ease?
– are you feeding from the dining table of darkness? Is this your story?
– is it true that anytime you try to smile, tears come out?

If this is your story, people have put you down, you have been relegated to the ground, your contemporaries have gone far; then you shall meet Jesus today! And your story shall change! You shall meet the Master! You will encounter the Son Of God! Even bondage shall be broken! Every chain fabricated by witchcraft against you shall be shattered in the name of Jesus! Your story shall change! In the name of Jesus!
